Cratus Pedal Puller

The Cratus Pedal Puller has been developed to simplify the removal of pedal inserts from the WattShop Cratus crank system. Purpose-built for the Cratus platform, the tool allows inserts to be extracted quickly and safely, making crank length changes straightforward and repeatable.

A key advantage of the Cratus crank system is the ability to adjust crank length without replacing the crankarms. Whether refining a bike fit, testing different lengths or adapting a position over time, the Cratus Pedal Puller enables riders to take full advantage of this adjustability with minimal effort.

Compact, durable and easy to use, the tool engages directly with the pedal insert, reducing the risk of damage to the insert or crankarm during removal. Unlike improvised extraction methods involving hammers, punches or workshop tools, the Cratus Pedal Puller is specifically designed to remove inserts in a controlled and repeatable manner.

PEDAL INSERT REMOVAL

1) Remove the pedal.
2) Slide the pedal puller over the crankarm with the stepped surface facing inward.
3) Install the pedal from the reverse face of the crankarm.
4) Using a hex key, tighten the pedal from the outside face until the insert releases.
