Track Chainrings

Engineered for the demands of track cycling, the WattShop 144BCD 5-Bolt Track Chainring combines precision manufacturing, high stiffness and optimised tooth geometry to deliver reliable performance and drivetrain efficiency.

CNC-machined from 4mm thick 7075-T6 aluminium and laser etched with WATTSHOP branding, the chainring is designed for dedicated fixed-gear track drivetrains using 1/8" chains.

PERFORMANCE BENEFIT
Larger chainring and sprocket combinations can improve drivetrain efficiency by reducing chain articulation and chain tension while maintaining equivalent gear ratios. This allows riders to optimise their gearing for their target speed and cadence without unnecessarily compromising drivetrain efficiency.

PRECISION ENGINEERED
Manufactured from high-strength 7075-T6 aluminium, the 4mm thick construction provides a balance of stiffness, strength and weight. Precision CNC machining ensures consistent tooth geometry and accurate engagement with 1/8" track chains.

BUILT FOR TRACK RACING
Designed around the industry-standard 144BCD 5-bolt interface, the chainring provides a secure mounting solution for compatible track cranksets. Its dedicated track tooth profile is engineered for consistent chain engagement under the high loads experienced during standing starts, sprinting and sustained racing efforts.
