Product Information

Introducing the Anemoi Mk2 Extension system – the evolution of cycling extension excellence. Building upon the original Anemoi extensions that set the industry standard, we've taken innovation to the next level with our latest iteration.

In response to the ever-changing UCI regulations and the evolving needs of triathletes, we've gone back to the
drawing board to refine and optimise the original Anemoi design. The result is Anemoi Mk2 – a product that stays true to the essence of its predecessor while introducing ground-breaking features and advancements.

With Anemoi Mk2, we continue our commitment to evolution, not revolution.

For guidance on how to select your extension size and specific components, please consult our Fit Calculator.

PLEASE NOTE

As our mono brackets are made to order, returns will incur a 50% restocking charge. Please get in touch if you are unsure about your order.

The Scott Plasma bracket attaches directly to the basebar, removing stack height adjustment. If additional stack height is required, please purchase our riser stack spacers

Why we created Anemoi Mk2

The Anemoi Mk2 Extension System is a testament to our dedication to evolutionary progress rather than abrupt revolution. Rooted in extensive research and customer feedback, numerous upgrades have been meticulously crafted to enhance every aspect of the system. From versatile mounting solutions and robust hardware to updated profile designs and numerous handgrip options, the Mk2 upgrades are abundant.

Amidst the refinements introduced across various aspects of the Mk2 System, certain features endure. The highly sought-after Anemoi Adjustable Riser, favoured by those valuing customisation, retains its prominent place. Additionally, the Anemoi Carbon arm rests, renowned both as standalone items and integral components of the Anemoi system, persist with subtle tweaks aimed at achieving the optimal position.

Build Options

The Anemoi Mk2 Extension System boasts compatibility with a wide range of industry-leading basebars. Opting for the Standard build option enables direct installation onto the existing riser stack. To ensure compatibility, your system requires a flat-topped riser stack with bolt centres between 15-40mm. For further guidance, please consult our Compatibility Guide.

Please note, due to the fixed 40mm bolt hole centres required for installation, the Fixed Angled Riser is not compatible with the Standard build option, Adjustable risers are provided instead. Our riser collars are included with the system and facilitate seamless integration between the adjustable riser and the extension body.

The Anemoi Mk2 Extension System seamlessly integrates with the Anemoi Basebar, delivering a TT Cockpit renowned for its unparalleled aerodynamic performance.

If you're planning to mount the Mk2 System onto your existing Anemoi basebar, please select this option when choosing your components. The Anemoi basebar is not included in the price.

Designed to facilitate effortless integration between the Anemoi Mk2 System and third-party basebars, our Conversion Spacers ensure seamless compatibility and integration, whilst optimising the alignment of your riser stack lateral centres.

Initially offered for select market-leading bike frames, this collection is rapidly expanding.

The Mount Plate build option provides extensive reach and width adjustment windows, catering to a wide range of riding positions.

Mount plates guarantee riders the flexibility to tailor their setup to their individual preferences and requirements, whether they prefer a compact or extended riding position.

Short and long plates are included as standard.

The Mono Bracket is an integral part of the system, ensuring the Anemoi Extensions' compatibility with various mono riser stack basebars. Our ever-expanding collection of Mono Brackets now cater to the vast majority of market-leading mono riser systems.

Brackets are available in five different reach sizes from XS (extra short) through to XL (extra long). The size required is determined by your bottom bracket to extension tip and bottom bracket to rear bolt hole dimensions.

Please refer to our Fit Calculator for further guidance on selecting your size.

Extension Lengths

Features

Extension Profile

Our 46 mm extension profile takes advantage of modern UCI regulations to improve forearm support and aerodynamic performance. The revised, more aggressive, wrist kink further reduces the gap between the wrist and extension for a cleaner airflow transition.

Handgrip Options

Our unique two-piece handgrip design increases contact area when shifting, improving control and confidence during gear changes. Various interchangeable options support multiple shifting systems and rider preferences.

Conversion Spacers

Conversion spacers allow the Anemoi Mk2 system to integrate with compatible basebars while maintaining optimised extension positioning. They provide a simple solution for riders looking to expand compatibility without compromising fit.

Adjustability

Retaining the flexibility of the original Anemoi system, the Mk2 offers up to 35mm of reach adjustment, 5° of toe-in and 10mm of lateral width adjustment. A more elevated extension angle in front of the armrest also improves forearm support and rider comfort.

Reduced Stack

By reducing stack height beneath the armrest, the Mk2 enables lower riding positions while maintaining the fit flexibility expected from the Anemoi system. Additional stack reductions are possible through alternative mounting configurations, helping riders achieve their ideal position.

Computer Mount

Two computer mount options are available to suit different cockpit configurations. The single-sided mount allows head unit alignment independent of extension toe angle, while the cross-brace version provides a centralised mounting solution and additional integration between extensions.

Lock In Your Position

Fixed angled risers are available in 5° increments from 10° to 30° and provide a simple, integrated solution for achieving a high-hand position.

They are designed for athletes who have settled on their preferred extension angle and want to lock in their position with a clean, race-focused setup. They are also an excellent option for riders looking to maximise extension angle within UCI regulations.

Improved Aerodynamic Performance

Through CFD, wind tunnel and velodrome testing, the Anemoi Mk2 extension profile was developed to improve aerodynamic performance across a wide range of riders and conditions.

After evaluating numerous concepts, Profile F emerged as the strongest overall performer, delivering consistent reductions in CdA compared with the original Anemoi Mk1 system.

See our Performance Blogs for a detailed breakdown of the testing process.
