Crankarms

Our crankarm range has been designed to work with specific models of certain market-leading cranksets. Depending on the spindle and crankarm combination selected, Q factor will vary from 129mm to 141mm. Stock crankset Q factors vary from 145.5mm to 150mm. This means you can expect a minimum Q factor reduction of 4.5mm.

Manufactured from 7075-T6 aluminium, anodised black and subtly laser etched with WattShop branding.

Our SRAM AXS and Quarq crankarms are only compatible with the 8-bolt interface.
The FSA Powerbox, SRM Origin and Rotor Inspider all use a spider lockring, which will be supplied as part of your order.
We also offer an adapter for the Power2Max Open Source spider, allowing the spider to be used with our SRAM AXS/Quarq crankarms.

All crankarm options come supplied with a DUB spindle. You only need to retain the spider from your existing setup. If you have a 30mm diameter BB, you will need to either change to a DUB BB or use 30mm to DUB adapters. If you have a 24mm diameter BB (Shimano users), you will need a new DUB BB.
If you are an existing SRAM user, it's likely that you already have a DUB BB, but please double check to confirm.

Additional pedal insert lengths can be purchased separately.

TEST DATA

A 10mm reduction in Q factor equates to a rider dependent saving of 0.001 to 0.002m^2. Assuming a standard air density of 1.225kg/m^3, this results in a saving of:
- At 45kph = 1.2-2.4w
- At 55kph = 2.2-4.4w

FITMENT CONSIDERATIONS
There are two main aspects which need to be considered. Crankarm to chainstay clearance and chainstrike. The latter is between the chain and crankarm when in the smallest sprocket of your cassette.

Please refer to our dimension guide. The dimensions provided will help provide crankarm position relative to the frame centreline; from this, you can work out chainstay clearance.
Secondly, the dimension guide also provides a chainstrike clearance estimate. This is based on predetermined parameters that are outlined in the guide.

2x COMPATIBILITY
If you plan to use the crankarms in a 2x setup. We can not guarantee 2x compatibility. The straight crankarms are not compatible. Whereas the compatibility of the +3mm crankarms is model-dependent and can not be guaranteed. The dimension from the chainline to the outside face of the front derailleur can not exceed 8mm. Exceeding 8mm will mean the front derailleur will contact the crankarm. Please ensure you account for any "over shift" whereby the front derailleur shifts excessively outboard before returning to its normal position.
